First, I'm extending a promotion offered in early December to families previously photographed inviting them to return for an updated portrait session at a discounted rate.  Kids get taller, family members added and pets adopted and so with these and other changes it's probably time for new photos to keep up with your growing family. If somehow I missed you and you didn't receive an invitation and we've worked together in the past, reach out before February 29th and you can schedule a new family photo at 20% off my normal creative fee. And if you've never experienced one of my studio family portrait sessions, why not make this year the start of a new tradition. Contact me for all the details.

Several clients have asked about my iPhone workshops so I've picked a few dates this winter and early spring to schedule more. If you're about to head off on vacation or just grabbing shots of kids/grandkids my 90 minute workshop can definitely help improve the quality of your photos and allow you to  have more fun. You'll get tips to help in design and composition, sharing and posting, learn about apps for enhancing your photos and easy steps in creating albums. Evening classes are scheduled for January 30th and March 12th at 6:30 and Saturday morning April 18th at 9:30.You'll find more details on my website. Tuition: $65. Minimum class size: 4  IPhone or other smartphone required.

Recently the Wall Street Journal published an article on the importance of a professional headshot when presenting yourself to recruiters or posting a photo on an online job sites. A professional photo speaks volumes to your overall commitment to a job search, your degree of personal responsibility and serious approach to any new position. So whether you're posting your photo on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, sending to an online recruiter or you simply need a great looking photo now's the time to do it. And I'll make it easy for you. On Friday, January 31, from 9AM to 1PM and 3PM to 6PM swing by my studio for a new individual portrait. In 10 to 15 minutes we'll take a series of photos then select one on the spot and for $50 (cash or check please) I'll send you an enhanced, high resolution digital file by the following Monday. Couldn't be less painful. No appointment necessary.  Questions?  Give a shout.
