Hello and welcome to the first communication of the Ravinia Farmers Market for 2021! 

We are excited and hopeful that this year’s markets will build on the success of last year with many of those vendors are returning. The market will run every Wednesday, 7am – 1pm, June 2 – Oct 27.

2020 was a rollercoaster year for many in our extended farmers market and organic family, and we want to let you know that we sincerely and with love appreciate the work you do, the food you bring, and the community service you provide as a farmer or producer and a local, small business.


The Ravinia Farmers Market focuses on locally grown and sourced, quality, organic, sustainable and earth friendly products. We provide not just an essential service, but an incredible service to the community. The objective this year is to retain a variety of passionate, small business vendors with this focus, meeting and exceeding the needs of the local community.

We are excited and appreciative that the Ravinia Neighbors Association is our Permit Sponsor for the second year in a row. Ravinia Neighbors Association is a non-profit organization devoted to preserving the unique character of the Ravinia Business District and the surrounding area. Membership information will be available at the RFM Welcoming Tent. Sponsorship donations can receive a 501© tax deduction.

Thank you to the City of Highland Park and the Park District of Highland Park for their cooperation, guidance and ongoing support.

We fully expect that the Ravinia Farmers Market will continue to be considered an essential service during this coming market season. Our Covid-19 protocols for safety will continue this season and will follow the Highland Park City Guidelines going forward. In May, we expect these guidelines may be updated in preparation for the first week of June.

We are accepting the 2021 RFM Application which is now available. Click on Vendors and you will find everything you need to prepare to be a Ravinia Farmers Market vendor and/or pre-order Virtual Market vendor

Please answer the questions on the application to the best of your ability, and skip the ones that don’t apply. We greatly appreciate descriptive info and typical products offered, as well as photos, social media links and video links that will help us to market your business to the community. Feel free to contact me if you have further questions or need assistance with the application process.

Finally, additional information will be made available soon regarding our upcoming RFM Virtual Marketplace, the Consignment Offsite Vendor booth (our curbside pre-order service), and the Farmer’s Market Café (creating delicious farm fresh meals in “To Go Containers” utilizing RFM vendor’s products).
